Solution calculation options

The button Menu, located just below the summary information of the solution, provides access to the following functions:
  • Auto Spacing. If the option is enabled, in some types of solution, the objects will be appropriately spaced in order to occupy the entire surface of the pallet or container.
  • Crossed layers. The function allows to increase the stability of the load by repositioning any layers according to a "crossed" pattern. The optimization algorithm automatically evaluates the possible strategies (horizontal mirroring, vertical mirroring, rotation) in order to maximise the contact surface and, consequently, the stability of the solution.
  • Label arrangement outward. BoxOnPallet allows to optimize the arrangement of the boxes in order to guarantee (consistent with the constraints of the load schema) the visibility of the labels of the boxes on the outer perimeter.

Print

Click on the button Print and then on "Print the report" to print a "report" of the selected solution. The report shows the data included in the "General Information" of the project, the summary data of the selected solution (description, information about the type of packing support, objects in the solution, dimensions, weights, etc.), the graphical representation of the loading plane and any QR code.
Click on the button Print and then on "Save the report as image" to export the report to an image file. BMP, JPG and PNG formats are supported.

Exporting data

Click on the button Export to export the selected solution data to formats compatible with the most common databases and spreadsheets. CSV and XML formats are supported.

Send (to robot)

This particular function, activated by clicking on the button Robot, allows you to send the data (place points coordinates, rotations, approaching distances, etc.) of the selected solution to a X-PAL® palletizing robot by X Machine.

(*) The features described refer to the "Advanced" version of BoxOnPallet. See the Download section for comparison of features offered by the different versions of BoxOnPallet.
