Frequently asked questions about BoxOnPallet
What should I do to purchase an activation code for paid versions of BoxOnPallet?
- Download the desired version of BoxOnPallet and run the installer on the computer for which you want to obtain the activation code (use license)
- Run BoxOnPallet, wait for the "Welcome" screen and sign in to your online account using the "Sign in" button. If you do not yet have an online account, you can create it as follows:
- Press the "Create Account" button
- Fill in and send the required information
- Wait for the reply email
- Click on the link contained in the email to activate the account
- When you log in to your online account, a dialog box will appear informing that you must have a license to use the software: click on the "Purchase a license" link
- Complete the purchase and payment in the manner indicated
- Upon receipt of payment, a confirmation email will be sent and your copy of BoxOnPallet will be automatically activated
The license I have purchased is valid for any computer in my possession?
Yes, but it can be used on one computer at a time. Before you can use BoxOnPallet on another computer, you must first transfer the license from the computer with license. See next question.
I purchased a license for a paid version. Now I want to use BoxOnPallet on another computer. What should I do?
In order to activate BoxOnPallet on another computer, you must transfer the license using the following steps:
- Run BoxOnPallet on the computer for which you own the activation code and from the menu "?" choose the item "License Transfer"
- Confirm the transfer of the license by pressing the "Yes" button
- Install and run BoxOnPallet on the new computer
- From the "Welcome" screen, sign in to your online account
- You will then see a dialog box that shows you the list of licenses that you can use to activate the new copy of BoxOnPallet
- Select a license and press the "Activate" button
Can I use BoxOnPallet's solution data with other programs or spreadsheets such as MS Excel?
Yes, the "Advanced" version allows the export of solution data in XML and CSV formats. The exported files can then be used in third-party programs or imported, for example, in MS Excel.
Can I change the units of measurement?
Yes, just press the "Settings" button: a dialog box will appear in which you can select the desired units of measurement between metric (mm, kg) or imperial US/UK (in, lbs).
Is there a version of BoxOnPallet in my language?
Currently BoxOnPallet can be used by choosing one of the following languages: English, Italian, French, German.
